Project Hawai’i provides services to over 1,600 individual homeless children annually across the islands of O’ahu, Maui and the Big Island of Hawai’i.

We caught up with Magin Patrick, CEO at Project Hawai’i, to discuss her role as Project Hawai’i co-founder and project director as well as how cryptocurrency can play a part in aiding the charity.

How did the charity get involved with ‘crypto’ giving? What’s been your experience to date?

I am a firm believer in the crypto currency future and would love to be involved in having donations for our charity.

Had you ever used endowments before?

I have not used them, nor know how, but would love to learn.

How has Angel Protocol experience been so far? What have you been able to do?

We are excited for this opportunity and would love to continue to be involved throughout their growth and development

How do you think Angel Protocol will be able to benefit your charity in the future?

We would love this program to be the foundation of running our dormitory for the homeless teens to reside while they attend college and our personal growth programs. Our annual budget is projected at $150,000- $170,000. for the program to be fully self sufficient.

Advice for others

Be open minded and open to new opportunities

Do you have any immediate needs? Or immediate plans for using the funding?

Yes! We have an immediate need of $186,000 to complete the construction of our dormitory by June 2022, and we need $49,000.00 to purchase the van for the dormitory by July 2022.

How do people find out more? About what you do? do you have any social media links?

We would love to introduce people to our all our programs through our website. www.HelptheHomelessKeiki.org or social media on Facebook and Instagram @projecthawaiiinc
